Our Story

Koji Academy is part of Kaidoko, a global education and wellbeing organisation with a strong record in supporting SEN learners. Our UK base is in Telford’s education quarter, where we work closely with Innovate Telford and local authorities across the country.

Tim Luft

Director

Tim is a digital media entrepreneur from the West Midlands who is passionate about using innovation to transform Special Educational Needs. With a background in virtual reality and the UK games industry, he has led government innovation projects, supported university research, and founded a successful VR studio. His mission is simple: to make learning more engaging, inclusive, and empowering for every learner.

Hema Kumar

Executive Director

Hema is an accomplished Executive Director with a proven track record of delivering significant results for an SEN education company. He now leads Koji Academy’s strategic partnerships with parents, students, and councils, focusing on measurable impact and community transformation. Beyond his executive role, Hema serves as a trustee for a mental health charity and champions socio-economic value through entrepreneurship.

Shaped by years of international experience, including work on projects supported by UNESCO and impact investors. Now, we're using that experience to support families and schools in the UK.
